Manning Basement Doors

In basements like this one at times you have to cut the doors down in height because of bulkheads. You should always replace the bottom piece of wood to retain the stability of the door center panel. You will have to run the bottom piece through the table saw to clean off the  remaining door skin and glue residue or the filler will be too thick and spread the door skin and make the job look even worse.
