Here you see how I do my trim. I use door stop to complement the baseboard. In my humble opinion the trim can make or break a job. I had a customer that opted to have someone else do the trim work after I finished what could have been a nice basement. I heard that the end result was a disaster. The finished product is what people see, not your material behind the drywall.
