Bryan picked the oak up in Windsor at a specialty wood shop. He purchased a limited number of pieces so no mistakes could be made. The unit was to hold 100 bottles with storage underneath for cases and miscellaneous other bottles. Bryan’s plan for the wine rack was to have just the right amount of slope to keep the cork covered but not too much so the bottle would slide out. Part of the plan was to have a small area in front of the rack where he could sit a bottle once removed from the rack.
