Basements
I am experienced in completing basements from 500 to 2000 square feet. No job is too big or too small. I can work with either wood or metal studs depending upon your needs. I am more than happy to offer you valuable money saving ideas along with layout suggestions if you wish. I will transform your 4 concrete walls into a functional living area that you will be pleased with. I will box in your columns and ducting so that the finished product will be pleasing to your eye.
Bathrooms
Are you looking to put a new face on your current bathroom or possibly adding a bathroom to your basement? I can certainly help. Whether replacing a toilet, tub, sink or adding ceramic tiles, glass block or other accessories, your bathroom will thank you for its long overdue facelift.
Laundry Rooms
Whether you are adding a new laundry area to your basement or moving an existing one to better utilize space I can help bring your plans to fruition.
Kitchens
You spend a lot of time in your kitchen so you want it functional and bright. Whether removing old cabinets or adding a new countertop or ceramic tiles. I can also add that backsplash that you have been contemplating.
Ceramics
I have experience in the installation of ceramic floor tiles, wall tiles and kitchen back splashes. I have worked with marble, clay, slate, and porcelain tiles. I can take care of your shower/tub tiles and shower enclosures. I will use cement backer board or a product called “Ditra mat” made by Schleuter as underlay.
Carpentry
I was taught by the best–my father! He was a trimmer for Jeffery Homes for many years. I can take care of most of your woodworking needs e.g. doors, baseboards, trim, casing, cabinets etc.
Decks
Over the years I have worked with a variety of decking materials including pressure treated wood and cedar. I have experience using composite decking using Eon and Long Life. If you look at my photo gallery you will see decks built over concrete surfaces, garage roofs, as well as built in planters and benches. I can offer valuable insight on the advantages and disadvantages of certain products used in your particular application from past experiences.
Drywall
Whether you want a bathroom, basement or whole house or cottage finished with drywall, I am your man. When I finish the taper will not be in a bad mood. You may have had a leaky tub or tap and the ceiling drywall needs replacing. I can take care of this for you.
Renovations
I have experience in a variety of demolition and reconstruction projects. From removing load bearing support walls and putting in doorways to opening up a basement or main floor area. I have also completed a wide range of bathroom, basement and kitchen renovations.
